Dr. Guangliang Zhang
Dr. Guangliang Zhang joined China Sinda in 2007. He specializes in consultation and litigation in almost all IP fields including patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition, anti-trust, trade secrets and domain disputes.
Dr. Guangliang Zhang has been involved in many significant IP litigation cases during his time with China Sinda and the Beijing First Intermediate People's Court.
After graduating from the People's University of China in 1994, he began his career at the Beijing First Intermediate People's Court as a clerk, judge, deputy chief judge and acting chief judge of the intellectual property tribunal. He later acted as the Director of the Research Department and a Judicial Committee member.
While he held the position as judge, Dr. Zhang handled hundreds of complicated intellectual property cases in China, which drew a great amount of attention from both inside and outside of China. Many of ChinaSinda's clients have benefited from his extensive experience and expertise since he joined as a senior consultant.
As a law professor of a well-know law school in China, Dr. GuangliangZhanghas written on a wide variety of intellectual property topics. His publications include approximately 100 academic articles and books. These publications include Issues & Cases in Intellectual Property Enforcement, Civil Remedies for Intellectual Property Infringement, Study on the Application and Enforcement of Intellectual Property, among others.
